Executive Board of Health

The Fort Wayne-Allen County Department of Health has maintained a position of leadership in the community for more than 165 years. Much of the department's success is attributed to its governing board.  Board members are unpaid community volunteers; their backgrounds are in medicine, business, industry, social service and law. The Mayor of Fort Wayne appoints three members and the remaining four are appointed by the Board of Commissioners of Allen County. Currently, the board is comprised of:

• Terri Y. Farr, RN
• Todd C. Rumsey, MD
• Rick Regandanz
• Jay Patel, MD
• Patricia Hays

Meetings

The board meets in the Commissioners Courtroom on the second floor of the City-County Building, 1 E. Main St. Meetings start at 5:30 p.m. unless otherwise noted. The list of meeting dates for 2009 is as follows:
