General Information
The Infectious Disease Center is responsible for providing client diagnosis, treatment and contact testing as well as Mantoux Tuberculin skin testing. The Center routinely reviews chest X-rays and engages in preventative medicine and Directly Observed Therapy (DOT). The Center acts as an area Regional resource for tuberculosis control and provides public education on prevention measures. Communicable Disease Reports are received from area physicians and investigated by Center staff.
