General Information
The Allen County Healthy Homes Program is responsible for assessing and educating people about dangers in the home that can pose a threat to their families. Childhood lead poisoning prevention is a major component of the program, including case management services, lead risk assessments and education to lead poisoned children and their families. The division also collaborates with the Vector Control & Environmental Services division to educate people about injury prevention, radon, pests, mold and moisture issues, and asthma triggers.
