Opioid crisis panel discussion set for May 15

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (April 25, 2018) – Likely you’ve heard about the opioid crisis; however, you may not know how it could be impacting your friends, family, and neighbors.  Bethel United Methodist Church, located at 8405 Lima Road, will be hosting a free informational panel discussion for the community on Tuesday, May 15th at Bethel United Methodist Church.  Complimentary pie will be served at 6:30 p.m., and the panel discussion is set to begin at 7 p.m.

Presenters include:

  • Allen County Health Commissioner Dr. Deborah McMahan
  • Marcia Haaff, CEO of The Lutheran Foundation
  • Detective J.C. Gutierrez, Fort Wayne Police Department

These experts will share local opioid overdose data, how much & what kinds of narcotics are seized by law enforcement, and mental, emotional & behavioral health resources available 24/7 at LookUpIndiana.org.
